about

Lapis Lazuli Light was the first idea of project
12 PHOTOS 12 TRACKS - it didn't make it on the album and is released separately.

A Polaroid camera was sent around the globe. 12 different people only have a single chance to make a photo of a place that’s special to them. They send the photo back to Stergin and the camera on to the next person. These photos and stories are the inspiration for each track.

Lapis Lazuli Light is inspired by the photo that came back from Canada. It's a sundown shot of Lake Ontario. Martina, the first participant in the project, misses the sea and that's her substitute to calm down and get inspired.

The camera travelled 61800 km. This is the same distance as you would be running the London Marathon 1466 times or climbing up and down the Eiffel Tower 103000 times.
